Good news! Someone does understand. The Bible tells us that God is compassionate. He has a sympathetic understanding of what you are going through and he wants to ease your burden and free you from the load you carry. He is dependable. He is always there for you. He will never leave you alone. God’s love has no limit or conditions and never fails, no matter what your circumstances.
You have many challenges to face, but you don’t have to face them alone. Talk to God about your feelings and your fears. As you spend time in the Bible, you will be comforted. You will learn that God is your refuge in your trouble. He offers strength and help. He is ever-present. He cares for you. He wants to carry your anxiety. He will give you peace.
“God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble.” Nahum 1:7 MSG
Prayer Lord, thank you for your promise to be with me, no matter what. Thank you for understanding and caring. In Jesus’ name …
Love y’all, Christie

Y’all let me say, sometimes life isn’t fair. Things hit us like a ton of bricks throughout life. We often wonder why God why? There are so many things that we question God about. But the truth is that God wanted us to have a perfect world. Well, you know what happened with that stupid apple. I am so going to pick a bone with her when I get to heaven. 😆 So, now doors were opened to let all kinds of sin in, disaster, heartache, divorce, cancer, just everything. We have to learn; that it’s not God’s fault. We have to stop blaming God and start running to God. He doesn’t want anything wrong happening to any of us. He wants us to know that He is there to help carry us through these dire times. He loves you, adores you, and tells you in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a hope, and a plan, for your future if you just run to Him and have faith.
Hang in there sweet friends, Gods got this. He has already worked everything out to your good. So now, rest in Him and just wait for your breakthrough, it’s coming.
Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
We can never forget how mighty the power of God is. God was able to help the Israelites overcome many battles and enemies that were far greater than them. God is still in the business of helping us overcome all problems and challenges that appear to be bigger than us. They may be bigger than us, but they will never be bigger than God.
Dear God, I thank you that I can be at peace in every challenging situation because I know there is nothing that will ever be too big or too much for you. Thank you for power that is always at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Everywhere I look, I’m starting to realize that God is all around us. If we look closely, we will see He is in the smallest of things. Such as taking a walk and seeing these fantastic flowers. Instead of seeing just beautiful flowers, I started seeing God. I thanked Him for making me smile, making me feel refreshed by the spring air, and just letting me know He’s all around me. As I walked and begged God to show up for me, He did. Start looking around you at the minor things, and you will see God all around you. I hope you have a blessed day!
Father in Heaven, You are the great teacher. You know all and You teach others Your truths. Help me to grow and mature into a good teacher of Your truth. Instill wisdom in me so that as I age others benefit from knowing me. Help me to have character that is worthy of Your calling and reflects Your holiness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
No one gets to start in the middle – we’re all beginners in one area of our lives or another. But for most of us, we need a new beginning, a fresh start, a walking journey from chaos to wholeness that is accomplished one step at a time.
Our first step is a big one. We are finally ready to admit that we are powerless to control an addiction or a behavior. The harder we try, the more unmanageable it becomes. Our lives have descended into chaos. When we take that first big step – giving up control – we step away from denial and acknowledge our own needs.
There is hope in that first step, for we can’t be helped until we admit that we need help. We are trying to be God in our own lives, and really, we aren’t up to the task. We are powerless to control much of anything by our own power. If we do this, we find freedom from ourselves.
Father God, today I take that fi4rst important step toward healing and wholeness. I admit to you that I am powerless over the strongholds that have taken over my life. I desperately need your help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Happy Friday sweet friends! Today, be the best you, you can be. If your down today or struggling with something going on in your life, you do have Hope! Hope is an amazing thing, without it where would we all be. He wants us to rejoice even in our struggles. He wants us to love Him, trust Him, and get so close to Him, and sometimes struggling is the way that happens. So, use this opportunity to draw closer to Him. Always reach out to someone when you need to talk, don’t suffer alone. That is what my ministry Hope Knows Your Name is all about. Reach out to us anytime we are doing life together!
Sometimes things hit us that we never saw coming. Life, it sometimes just gets tough. I know in my life I have overcome so many obstacles. Childhood physical and sexual abuse, my dad’s murder, a husband committing suicide, and my story goes on and on. I re-married and was married for 6 years when my husband served me with divorce papers a year ago. I found myself face down on the floor again; why God, why? Isn’t that the question we always ask him?
I just have to tell you, it was a blessing in disguise. Do you know the song I thank God for unanswered prayer by Garth Brooks? That became my song; I started to find me again that had been lost for so many years. When you put a butterfly in a box, it dies. That was me; in that marriage, I was dying. I now see that the divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me; it set me free. I am closer to Jesus than I ever have been.
I see the light in every day and find joy in every day. I started thanking God for every trial I was going through. Sounds crazy, right? Not at all; start thanking Him for what He will teach you as you go through your trial. Surround yourself with positive people that build you up, not those who tear you down. Start to thank Him that He chose you to go through it, so you will be the one to help others. Find the good in the struggle just as I did. I promise you, God has got this, He has you, and you will be a better person because of it. Hang in there, sweet friends!
