Like lost sheep, we too need to be constantly rescued.

Like lost sheep, we too need to be constantly rescued. Like lost sheep, we contribute nothing to our own rescue and everything to our own lostness. As our Shepherd, Jesus tells us, He has does it all! To put it another way, our rescue is all by His grace! That is the kind of shepherd we need.

Scripture: Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened

From. Zechariah 11:17

Inspiration

The shepherd who leaves his flock is not good. He will get what he deserves. The good news is this: we have a good shepherd, Jesus. He is the best shepherd, and He never leaves us, His flock. He protects us. If even one wanders away, He goes after him or her. Let’s be thankful that we serve the good shepherd Jesus.

Prayer

Lord, You are good. You, Jesus, truly are the best shepherd. Thank You for looking out for us. For going after us when we try to wander away. We do not deserve to have such a good shepherd like You, but You care for us anyways. It was nothing I did that made me lovable, and yet You choose to love me. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is our hero!

Do you sometimes feel as though nobody understands what you are experiencing?

Good news! Someone does understand. The Bible tells us that God is compassionate. He has a sympathetic understanding of what you are going through and he wants to ease your burden and free you from the load you carry. He is dependable. He is always there for you. He will never leave you alone. God’s love has no limit or conditions and never fails, no matter what your circumstances.

You have many challenges to face, but you don’t have to face them alone. Talk to God about your feelings and your fears. As you spend time in the Bible, you will be comforted. You will learn that God is your refuge in your trouble. He offers strength and help. He is ever-present. He cares for you. He wants to carry your anxiety. He will give you peace.

“God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble.” Nahum 1:7 MSG

Prayer
Lord, thank you for your promise to be with me, no matter what. Thank you for understanding and caring. In Jesus’ name …

Be Blessed, Christie

It’s not Gods fault when bad things happen to good people.

Y’all let me say, sometimes life isn’t fair. Things hit us like a ton of bricks throughout life. We often wonder why God why? There are so many things that we question God about. But the truth is that God wanted us to have a perfect world. Well, you know what happened with that stupid apple. I am so going to pick a bone with her when I get to heaven. 😆 So, now doors were opened to let all kinds of sin in, disaster, heartache, divorce, cancer, just everything. We have to learn; that it’s not God’s fault. We have to stop blaming God and start running to God. He doesn’t want anything wrong happening to any of us. He wants us to know that He is there to help carry us through these dire times. He loves you, adores you, and tells you in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a hope, and a plan, for your future if you just run to Him and have faith.

Hang in there sweet friends, Gods got this. He has already worked everything out to your good. So now, rest in Him and just wait for your breakthrough, it’s coming.
