God will make a way!

Sometimes when life happens, we don’t understand why or how we find ourselves where we are at today. I have been there many times. I constantly pray to God; please open a door, please make a way. And then I sit back and see the doors God opened for me, but I didn’t walk through them. I could not be patient long enough to wait, and I opened doors on my own, which didn’t work out. Then I start to call out to him again. And when I don’t see anything happening when I think it should, I go through another door that I opened again; It’s like a vicious cycle. Then we have to deal with the consequences of our choices, which is usually pain. The good news is that this is how we grow. It’s in the thrust of the pain that we find God. It’s when we have hit rock bottom that we turn to Him. The doors God opens in our lives sometimes look different than we pictured, and we miss God in the process. So, continue to realize that God will make a way, open your heart, soul, spirit, and mind, and He will do the rest. All you have to do is trust Him. If you want to walk through a door and you don’t have complete peace about it, then more likely, it’s not what God has for you. Be patient and wait; you will know if it’s God’s door because you will have peace that passes all understanding.

1 Cross + 3 Nails = 4 Given…….WOW…isn’t Gods Grace Good…..

Like Adam and Eve after their fall, we strive to hide our nakedness from each other. We dress ourselves up and put on a happy face, and when people ask us how we are, we cheerfully answer “fine!”

When God looks at us, however, He sees right through our facade… straight into our sinful hearts. Before God, we are wretched condemned criminals.

If we were to look at ourselves the way God sees us even when we have it all together, we would see something totally different. He sees through all of our efforts to be “lookin’ good.” His vision probes far deeper than the all-too-cool clothes we wear, our makeup, our rippling abs and our great tan. He strips away the layers of self-delusion and penetrates deep into our hearts where each of us is a desperately lost sinner. And, no matter how good you think you are, it’s not until we know that we are like condemned criminals before Him that we can begin to understand how amazing His grace really is. When you can honestly say that His grace saved a wretch like you, you can begin to stand in amazement at the greatness of His grace. In fact, His grace is only a “sweet sound” when you know how deep it had to go to clean you up!

What is God’s amazing grace? It’s the outstretched love of Jesus whose agonizing death and victorious resurrection saves us from who we really are—not from who we think we are. Romans 5:8 says: “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” He died the worst kind of death imaginable, because it needed to cover the wretchedness of our desperately lost souls. We weren’t lookin’ good when He died for us. If we were as cool as we think we are, He could have stayed in heaven. But like hopeless beggars trapped in the sludge of sin, we needed Him. And so He came and died in our place. Now that’s what I call amazing!

God has called us all to minister in some way. What is your calling?

Scripture

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

From. I Timothy 1:12

Inspiration

God has called us each to minister in some way. What is your calling? Some people struggle with trying to decipher their calling. Begin by considering the talents and gifts God has bestowed to you. God gave you these unique talents for a reason – to serve him! While we will not all be called to preach from a pulpit, we are all called to serve him faithfully. This may mean volunteering with vacation Bible school or ministering in the nursery or helping teach others how to be good stewards of their finances. No matter what your gifts are, allow God to use them to bring him glory.

Prayer

Dear God, I want to live my life serving you and ministering to others, but there are some days when I am unsure how to do it. Give me wisdom to know which unique gifts you have given me and an understanding for how I can use them to minister. Give me the confidence and strength I need to serve. Whenever I am ministering, help me to do it unto you and not for my own glory. May your name and works be glorified through my ministry. Thank you for believing I am worthy to share your message with others. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Like lost sheep, we too need to be constantly rescued.

Like lost sheep, we too need to be constantly rescued. Like lost sheep, we contribute nothing to our own rescue and everything to our own lostness. As our Shepherd, Jesus tells us, He has does it all! To put it another way, our rescue is all by His grace! That is the kind of shepherd we need.

Scripture: Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened

From. Zechariah 11:17

Inspiration

The shepherd who leaves his flock is not good. He will get what he deserves. The good news is this: we have a good shepherd, Jesus. He is the best shepherd, and He never leaves us, His flock. He protects us. If even one wanders away, He goes after him or her. Let’s be thankful that we serve the good shepherd Jesus.

Prayer

Lord, You are good. You, Jesus, truly are the best shepherd. Thank You for looking out for us. For going after us when we try to wander away. We do not deserve to have such a good shepherd like You, but You care for us anyways. It was nothing I did that made me lovable, and yet You choose to love me. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is our hero!

Do you sometimes feel as though nobody understands what you are experiencing?

Good news! Someone does understand. The Bible tells us that God is compassionate. He has a sympathetic understanding of what you are going through and he wants to ease your burden and free you from the load you carry. He is dependable. He is always there for you. He will never leave you alone. God’s love has no limit or conditions and never fails, no matter what your circumstances.

You have many challenges to face, but you don’t have to face them alone. Talk to God about your feelings and your fears. As you spend time in the Bible, you will be comforted. You will learn that God is your refuge in your trouble. He offers strength and help. He is ever-present. He cares for you. He wants to carry your anxiety. He will give you peace.

“God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble.” Nahum 1:7 MSG

Prayer
Lord, thank you for your promise to be with me, no matter what. Thank you for understanding and caring. In Jesus’ name …

Be Blessed, Christie

It’s not Gods fault when bad things happen to good people.

Y’all let me say, sometimes life isn’t fair. Things hit us like a ton of bricks throughout life. We often wonder why God why? There are so many things that we question God about. But the truth is that God wanted us to have a perfect world. Well, you know what happened with that stupid apple. I am so going to pick a bone with her when I get to heaven. 😆 So, now doors were opened to let all kinds of sin in, disaster, heartache, divorce, cancer, just everything. We have to learn; that it’s not God’s fault. We have to stop blaming God and start running to God. He doesn’t want anything wrong happening to any of us. He wants us to know that He is there to help carry us through these dire times. He loves you, adores you, and tells you in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a hope, and a plan, for your future if you just run to Him and have faith.

Hang in there sweet friends, Gods got this. He has already worked everything out to your good. So now, rest in Him and just wait for your breakthrough, it’s coming.

Love to all, Christie

God is still in the business of helping us overcome.

Morning prayer

Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Exodus 15:6

Inspiration

We can never forget how mighty the power of God is. God was able to help the Israelites overcome many battles and enemies that were far greater than them. God is still in the business of helping us overcome all problems and challenges that appear to be bigger than us. They may be bigger than us, but they will never be bigger than God.

Prayer

Dear God, I thank you that I can be at peace in every challenging situation because I know there is nothing that will ever be too big or too much for you. Thank you for power that is always at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

God is the reason you remain strong today!!!🙏🏽
